Liyana Arachchige Anthony Marcus Appuhamy and Hathurisinghe Chandrawathie started their LANIS Product(Pvt)Ltd coir factory in 1976 with eight employees in the Wennappuwa area of ​​Sri Lanka. Mrs. Chandrawathie was involved in the process and assisted her husband and staff after school, where she worked as a teacher. At the beginning, their customer base was limited to local customers/buyers in Sri Lanka. LANIS Products (Pvt) Ltd is a registered company with the Coconut Development Authority of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Customs.

By 2008, their eldest son Nirosh Indika Sampath had joined  [L.A.N.I.S] as a partner and expanded its product range to other sectors. As a result, the LANIS business was expanded coincide with Europe.

We now inherit a forty-five years long infinity. Due to his unwavering long journey and vast experience in the company, he opened the company of  LANIS Product Europa S.R.L. to his overseas customers.

Today, the LANIS Product Europa S.R.L. company has grown to 100 employees in Sri Lanka coincide with Europe. Today, all of our businesses are based in LANIS Product Europa S.R.L.

Nirosh Indika(Director of LANIS Product Europa S.R.L. ) with a special knowledge of coconut and coconut-related products, he took the lead in bringing coconut products and all other types of Sri Lankan spices, Sri Lankan teas, Sri Lankan fresh and natural fruits, Sri Lankan vegetables, and Sri Lankan Ayurvedic products to Europe. Already, the market has expanded rapidly to European countries with the assurance of the high quality of our company products. All these products are manufactured by our LANIS Product(Pvt)Ltd in Sri Lanka and imported to Europe and distributed in Europe by  LANIS Product Europa S.R.L. (P.IVA: 11751610962)
